Choose a request path

Start with the business need, then choose the request

Separate an equipment purchase, an invoice-related need and an operating project before choosing a request form. Check the route and business-state availability first.

What this step helps you do

  • Describe the actual activity and separate distinct uses.
  • Choose by the request’s purpose as well as the business industry.
  • Check the product-specific state list before sharing information.

A useful starting point is a sentence about the work your business needs to do. Replacing a machine, organizing open business invoices and covering an operating expense describe different situations. Begin with that activity before choosing a product label or opening several forms. The purpose of this page is to help you find the relevant request route; it does not establish eligibility or predict a funding decision.

Merchant Dash LLC operates the request services linked from the funding hub. Each route has its own focus and location restrictions. A funding partner may need a separate application or additional information if a program may fit. You decide whether to continue after reviewing the information provided.

Find the relevant form

What are you preparing?

Choose the actual business need. This helps you find a request service; it is not a funding assessment.

Staffing invoice and factoring requests are unavailable in FL, GA and MO. Additional restrictions may apply. An available request form does not establish eligibility.

Describe the activity in plain language

Write down what would change in the business if the project goes ahead. Be specific enough that another person can identify the machine, project, supplier expense or business invoices involved. If one request would cover several activities, list them separately instead of giving every item the same description.

Keep the explanation factual. Mark an estimate as an estimate, and distinguish a confirmed order from a possible future order. You can prepare a useful description even when some details are still unknown; the important step is making the gaps visible.

Use the equipment route for a specific purchase

An equipment purchase file starts with the item and the intended business use. Record the seller, model, condition and information available in the quote or listing. Note whether delivery, installation, site work or another dependency still needs to be checked. This helps keep the purchase itself separate from the business’s other operating needs.

MachineFunded is the equipment request route. A restaurant oven, a hotel laundry machine or an auto-shop lift can still be an equipment purchase even though the business belongs to a particular industry. Do not change the stated purpose simply to use a different form.

Use the invoice route for a business receivables question

If the request concerns outstanding business invoices, identify the customer responsible for the invoice and the goods or work behind it. Keep open, disputed, credited and already settled items distinct in your private records. An invoice list alone may not explain whether the underlying work was accepted.

ShiftFunded focuses on staffing and business invoice requests. The business type, customer and receivable details matter; an industry name by itself does not establish a fit. A funding partner may ask for different or additional records as part of its own review.

Keep operating needs separate from purchases and invoices

The restaurant, hospitality and auto-repair request routes let those businesses describe an operating need. Use the industry context to explain the activity, rather than assuming every expense uses the same product. If your request specifically concerns equipment or invoices, use the corresponding route or make that distinction clear before proceeding.

Brevo Capital provides a funding-type choice for other business needs. Select the type you are actually seeking. A general-purpose description such as “working capital” should explain the use of the funds; it should not silently replace a particular product choice. If the choices do not describe your need, ask for clarification.

Check availability for the route you choose

Location restrictions differ by request service and product. Read the relevant list before starting. A state being available on one route does not make it available on another, and changing a form does not remove a product restriction. Use the business location requested by the form and keep it accurate.

  • Restaurant, hospitality and auto-repair operating-request services are unavailable in CT, FL, GA, MO, TX and VA.
  • Equipment requests are unavailable in CA, FL, GA, MO, ND and VT.
  • Factoring requests are unavailable in FL, GA and MO.
  • Other requests are unavailable in FL and GA, with additional restrictions depending on the selected product and partner review.

Choose one next step

If the purpose and route are clear, gather the basic details and start the relevant request. If records are missing, use the preparation checklist first. If the distinction between a purchase, an invoice need and an operating need is still unclear, keep a short description of each and contact support@merchant-dash.com with your general question.

Do not include bank statements, account numbers, personal identifiers or login details in a general support message. You can ask which route is relevant without sending confidential documents. When further information is needed, follow the specific instructions provided for that request.

Common questions

Should I submit the same request on every site?

Start with the route that describes the actual need. If you already submitted and want to change or clarify it, contact support with the request reference if one was provided. Do not assume a new form submission updates an earlier request.

Does an industry page decide which product I receive?

No. The page provides context for the request. Product availability depends on the business details, location and the relevant funding partner’s review. Keep a specific product preference clear.

What if my state is listed as unavailable?

Do not choose another state or a different purpose to bypass the restriction. The request route cannot be used for that excluded business location and product.
