What this step helps you do

  • Read the exact confirmation shown after submission.
  • Keep request, document and provider milestones separate.
  • Use the request reference and a verified support route when something needs clarification.

The first thing to look for after submitting is the message on the form. Read what it confirms rather than treating every confirmation as the same milestone. A saved request, an uploaded file, an application completed with a partner and a funding decision are separate events. This page explains those differences; it is not a live status page for an individual request.

If a program may fit, you may be asked to clarify the business need, complete additional application information or use a specific process for supporting documents. Each funding partner makes its own decision. Submitting a request does not establish that a partner received a complete application or agreed to provide funding.

Read the request confirmation

When the form confirms that your request was received, keep the confirmation and any reference it provides. Check that the message relates to the request you just made. A reference can help the support team find the relevant conversation without asking you to send a fresh bundle of information.

A received-request message describes the initial request step. It does not mean a funding partner has completed a review. If the message says the request cannot be processed because of location or another restriction, do not treat that as an invitation to submit the same information through a different industry form.

Resolve an error before assuming completion

If the form reports an error, read the correction guidance and keep the information available while you resolve it. A form remaining on screen after an error is different from a confirmed successful submission. Correct any clearly identified field issue using the instructions shown.

Sometimes a connection ends before the outcome is clear. If you cannot tell whether a request was received, contact support with the site used, the approximate submission date and a reference if one was provided. Avoid sending confidential documents merely to ask about status. Do not assume repeated submissions update or replace the original request.

Respond to the specific next instruction

Follow-up may ask for clarification, a separate application or supporting records. Read which step is being requested and who is responsible for receiving it. Keep the original business purpose and product preference accurate; if either changes, make the change explicit rather than leaving different versions in different conversations.

An invitation to complete an application is an opportunity to provide the information requested by that recipient. Opening the invitation is not the same as completing it. If you choose to continue, review the questions and authorizations in that application before submitting. Ask the recipient to explain anything you do not understand.

Treat document upload as its own step

If you receive document instructions, confirm the recipient, the exact files or periods required and the approved upload process. Use that process for the requested material. Keep personal identifiers, bank statements and account credentials out of public comments and general support messages.

A successful upload confirmation tells you that the upload step completed. It is not proof that a funding partner has accepted the file or made a decision. Keep any upload confirmation with your private records and wait for the next specific instruction rather than sending the same files through additional channels.

Separate partner receipt from the partner’s decision

A funding partner’s receipt confirms a different milestone from the request being saved on an owned website. The partner may still need to review the information, request further details or decide that its program does not fit. Keep any provider communication and application reference associated with the same business request.

If you receive information about a possible option, review the documents supplied by that partner and ask your questions before deciding what to do. This guide does not evaluate an individual offer or tell you which financial product to choose. You may decide not to proceed.

Keep corrections and questions connected to the request

Choose one business contact to coordinate follow-up. That person can keep a short log of the request date, references, questions received, records supplied and unresolved items. A log helps prevent a routine request for clarification from being confused with a completed application or a final decision.

For a general status or process question, contact support@merchant-dash.com. Include the request reference if available and a short description of the issue. Do not include passwords, codes, account numbers or document attachments. If an unfamiliar message asks for sensitive information, confirm the request through a known contact route before responding.

Read status messages carefully

These are explanations of possible messages, not a live status tracker for your request.

Request received
The initial request step was confirmed by the website. It is not a partner decision.
More information requested
A specific clarification, application step or document may be needed if you choose to continue.
Upload completed
The upload step completed. Partner receipt and review are separate.
Partner receipt confirmed
There is evidence of receipt by the relevant partner. Review may still be outstanding.
Partner decision
The partner communicates the outcome of its own review. Refer to that communication for the individual request.

Common questions

Does “request received” mean my application is with a lender?

No. It confirms the initial request step shown by the website. Any separate application, provider receipt and review are different milestones.

Can I see my live status on this page?

No. This page explains the process. Use the confirmation or application reference provided for your request, or ask support a general status question.

What if I need to correct information?

Contact the relevant support or application contact with the reference and a brief description of the correction. Do not assume a new request overwrites a previous one.
